Introduction of The China Press

Starting from the first issue on January 5, 1990, The China Press has distinguished itself from other Chinese publications by focusing on supplying timely, trusted, balanced and authoritative information about Mainland China.

Thanks to the rapidly growing number of immigrants from Mainland China in the past decades, The China Press has become one of the fastest growing and most influential Chinese language newspapers in United States. For example, many Chinese top leaders, including the President of China and the premiers, have granted exclusive interviews to The China Press. No other U.S. Chinese media has gained the same privilege and access to news about Mainland China.

Today, The China Press publishes 52 to 60 pages for each issue, including 16 to 20 colorful pages, in 4 to 5 sections. Printed simultaneously in Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco, the newspaper is distributed from these three metropolitans the cities where large number of Chinese immigrants live.

Meanwhile, The China Press Weekly, which was launched on the New Year's Day of 1999, has served the Chinese communities on weekend. With a 36 page folio in 3 sections, the Weekly supplies feature stories, insightful analysis and impartial editorials. This innovative style has gained so much popularity that The China Press Weekly has been recognized as a powerful Chinese media with the largest circulation in U.S.A.
